This kit was a real pain to do. Probably a recast, but it was off in all possible dimensions, with very few details compared to the size (104cm length). I sanded so much resin away that it might be enough to build a model out of it. To make a real good model, most parts would have to be build from scratch, so I decided to just build it as good as possible and not name it USS Excelsior but USS Lexington. This might explain among other things the different bridge section. In the end, it still turned out pretty nice, but is obviously missing some detail. All decals were done from scratch, as the ones provided were unusable.
