One of the most iconic ships in Science Fiction history, but til a few months ago, only a tiny inaccurate model kit was available. Randy Cooper changed that and provided us with a truly BIG kit.
Fortunately for me, Tim Ketzer agreed to do the buildup. The large kit proved to be no easy task because of the segmentation and our decision to light it with fiber optics.
Tim planted over thousand fiber optics to make for the windows. And this really shows!
He also took these photos. To show the beauty of the model I decided to put up the photos in a much higher resolution than usual.
